This comprehensive massage course will teach you how to carry out effective full body massage treatments to a very high standard. Providing you with all of the information and techniques you will need to perform a highly marketable, professional massage including massage to the back, legs and feet, hands and arms, abdomen, neck and shoulders, head and face.

The course is open to beginners and existing therapists.

Massage is undoubtedly the most natural of all healing therapies and is a skill that is embedded in human culture. Massage is one of the top services requested in salons and spas and salon/spa owners are always in pursuit of a therapist with a comprehensive range of massage skills.

Course Fee includes training manual, training materials, assessment and certification

Required Self-Guided (Theory) Learning Hours: minimum 72 hours

Assessment: Completion of guided home study and preparation of written assessment prior to the practical training day. On the practical training days,  continuous formative assessment, verbal questions and performance of a Swedish Massage treatment with minimal guidance from your tutor, along with final completion of the written assessment. The Anatomy & Physiology course is assessed online and must be completed before the Swedish Massage diploma course can be certified.

Prerequisites and Qualifications

No prerequisites required.

Awarding Body: The Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and Professional Beauty Direct (PBD) and approved as insurable by Insync, BGi UK, Professional Beauty Direct and Westminster Insurance, however please check with your own insurer to see if they will also cover this qualification.

Qualification Attained: Natural Touch Training Accredited Diploma
